Our top priority at Scooby Soccer is your health and wellness.  Although our focus has always been on fun and keeping our children active, the recent spread of COVID-19 has shifted our focus to your safety.

We have submitted a “return to play” plan to the municipality and will wait for approval.
It is our intent to begin programming with “practice/skill” sessions only. Games and
scrimmages are NOT permitted at this time. We have wonderful technical coaches who
will take on this task with social distance drills. Our plan will be a slow restart with
programming offered to the U7-U10 age division. If approved, we may be able to start on
Friday July 3 rd or Saturday July 4 th . There will be many restrictions (limit to parents, social
distancing, no washroom facilities, separate entrance and exit to the field etc.) New waivers
will need to be signed which will include COVID and Concussion exemptions. If the
program is successful, we will move to our next stage of reopening and open up to other age
groups. An email will be sent to your child’s age group (for those who registered for the
spring program) to inform you of new dates and openings. Stay safe, stay well.

Take care, stay safe, stay home.

ABOUT SCOOBY SOCCER

SCOOBY SOCCER Soccer The Way It Should Be Played!!! Scooby Soccer (Soccer Club Organization of Burlington Youth) is committed to providing an opportunity for all youth to play organized soccer and assist them in reaching their potential. Our volunteer parent coaches work with our professional staff who has several years of experience in grassroots programs as well as in the professional community. We have a great technical staff who are available at the sessions for guidance and support. Our philosophy is for our players to play in small-sided games to allow as many touches as possible. This will build skill in our players, but more importantly confidence. With confidence comes a love of the game. For more info call 905-317-2370. Click on the registration link to register your child. Registration is limited.

REGISTER NOW FOR SUMMER SOCCER 2020

Register now for our summer soccer session. See our registration page/programs for the various programs and parks we will be using this season. Fee is $175.00 (in our efforts to make soccer affordable for all, we did not increase our fees). Included is shirt, shorts, socks, soccer ball, team photo and year end medal.

Our U3 program (children born in 2017) is a 6 week introductory program. The fee is $50.00 and includes shirt, shorts, socks, medal, team photo and year end medal. Each week features a different theme which will include shooting, passing and dribbling. The children will play games incorporating the soccer ball (follow the leader, what time is it Mr. Wolf etc). We ask parents to participate for the skill portion of the session to help with instruction. Skills are the focus for the first 20-25 minutes and we follow up with a 20 minute scrimmage with another team and put our newly learned skills to good use. Children play 3V3, no goalie. With the small sided game the children should get lots of touches on the ball.

U4-U15 – Fee is $175 for the 12 week program. Fee includes shirt, shorts, socks, soccer ball and team photo. Each session includes ½ hour practice session where we work on proper technique and skills. The children will then play a game against another team. U4-U8 is a 30 minute game. U9+ will play a longer game depending on age and games will be refereed.
